Two of us

Lewis looks and listens. Jim makes it stand up.

We are working for ourselves now. Between us the job is sound, light, picture, power and a room that feels finished when we leave.

We pride ourselves on the finish. We do not cut corners. Highest standard, materials and tradesmen we know and trust. You get what you pay for — buy cheap, buy twice.
Grand piano in a finished room with wooden floors — Lewis comes from music

Lewis

Music, sound, light, cameras, interiors

Lewis comes from music. He is a musician, a sound engineer and a lighting engineer, and he has spent years on cameras and on making rooms look right.

In a cinema that mix is the job. The picture can be sharp and the room still feel wrong if the sound is muddy or the light spills onto the screen. He listens, then he looks. Speaker angles, where a reflection will bounce, how the seats face the picture, what the room feels like when you walk in.

The finish is not a coat of paint at the end. It is the work.

Jim

Electrics, telecoms, AI, video and music

Jim is an electrician and a telecoms engineer. He designs for the web, works with AI, and produces video and music.

Cinemas fail in the boring places: a cable run that is too long, a rack with no air, a network that drops the film, a socket that was never meant for a projector and a subwoofer. He plans the power, the data and the software that turns your measurements into a layout.

The room designer on this site is that idea, in the open, so you can see it before we visit.

One job, handed over

From start to finish: the design, the furnishings, the audio-visual work and the install. Automated screens and show curtains, acoustic panels, full surround in 7.1 DTS, movie light boxes with posters you can change, and seating from a home sofa to luxury console chairs.

A brief you bring, or creative design we draw in-house. You approve it in 3D before any work is carried out. Where a cinema needs a joiner or a decorator, we bring people we know and trust, and we stay responsible for the finish.

We do not hide a cheap speaker behind a grille and hope. We do not quote a firm price before we know the room. We do not disappear at handover.

New business. Old standards. Based in Brentwood, working across Essex and into east London when the room is worth it.
